- 10 years. You can extend it in 10-year periods by renewing. The renewal window is the last 6 months, plus an additional 6 months with a late fee.
- Under the TÜRKPATENT 2026 tariff, the single-class application fee is ₺2,820, plus a ₺7,010 registration certificate fee. The agent fee is file-specific; the free written quote is given after the initial consultation.
- No. Under the TÜRKPATENT 2026 tariff, the single-class application fee alone is ₺2,820. A ₺1,300 offer either provides half-service, demands hidden additional charges, or files an invalid application.
- A patent grants 20 years of protection and requires three conditions (novelty + inventive step + industrial applicability). A utility model grants 10 years; the inventive-step requirement is more flexible. Methods and chemical substances can only be protected via the patent route.
- SMEs in the KOSGEB database can apply for partial reimbursement of fees and agent expenses for each registered mark. We prepare the KOSGEB file in parallel with your registration process.

- Only persons registered in the TÜRKPATENT agent registry may represent clients (SMK arts. 156-160). Asil's registry number is 188. You can search by firm name or registry number at portal.turkpatent.gov.tr/anonim/arastirma/vekil.

- No. Notarisation is not required for trademark and patent powers of attorney. A wet-signed form is sufficient. See our power-of-attorney page for details.
- Trademark name changes are not possible after registration; a new application is required. For logo changes, rights-holders may follow certain steps under Turkish IP Code; we recommend discussing this with your agent.
- We select classes covering your current and near-future business activities. A separate fee applies for each additional class. Asil provides class-selection advice in the initial consultation.
