Has someone demanded payment in our name?

We have recently received complaints that unauthorised individuals, representing themselves as Trademark Agents or Patent Agents, or claiming to be Asil Patent employees, have been telephoning the holders of pending applications and registrations; attempting to deceive them through various scenarios, or demanding payment via letters and invoice-like notices crafted to create the impression that they originate from the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT).

In any suspicious situation, we strongly remind you not to engage with these individuals in any way, not to enter into any business relationship with them, and not to transfer payment to any account.

Asil Patent contacts clients only from the 5 verified numbers listed below. Before making any payment, confirm that the caller appears on this list.

The numbers above are registered with the TÜRKPATENT agent registry and with our TSE Service Competency Certificate. If in doubt, check via our agent-registry verification tool.

✓ Verify in three steps

  1. Do not make any payment. Asil will never tell you verbally to "wire money to this IBAN immediately." Official payments go only to the single corporate account that we notify you about by email in advance.
  2. Verify our registry record. Use our Agent Registry Verification tool to open the official TÜRKPATENT portal: registry number 188.

Stop immediately if you hear any of these

  • "The official fee is going up — pay now" — The TÜRKPATENT fee schedule changes at the start of each year, never mid-day. This kind of pressure is the signature of a fake agent.
  • A wire-transfer request to an unfamiliar IBAN — We notify you of Asil's official account by email in advance. Never accept a verbal IBAN instruction.
  • Asil's logo on an email from a different domain — Our official correspondence comes only from the @asil.com.tr domain. Treat anything else as domain spoofing.
  • An "agent" who will not give a registry number — Genuine agents do not hide their registry number; they state it when asked.
  • "This price is valid only today" pressure — Registration is a serious legal process, not an e-commerce flash sale. Manufactured urgency is the tone of a fake agent.
