We have built this site to WCAG 2.2 AA standards for visitors with disabilities, older users, those with low vision or hearing loss, people with motor impairments, dyslexia, or different cognitive needs. You can personalize your experience using the checklist of tools below.

1. WCAG 2.2 AA conformance

The site has been developed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA level. Independent accessibility tests (axe-core + manual keyboard navigation + screen reader testing) are run on a regular cadence. Known limitations and our improvement roadmap are disclosed transparently on this page.

2. Accessibility button in the lower-left corner

Click the ↔ icon in the lower-left corner of every page to toggle the 10 settings below. Your preferences are saved in your browser.

For low vision

High contrast: Maximizes the contrast between text and background. Designed for users with reduced visual acuity.
Text size — Normal / Large / Extra Large: The Extra Large option was designed especially for older users.
Underline links: All clickable links are highlighted with an underline.
Strong focus indicator: When navigating with the keyboard, the active element is marked with a thick accent-color outline.

For easier reading

Dyslexia-friendly typeface: The OpenDyslexic font family reduces letter confusion.
Wide line spacing: Increases the space between lines and words.
Reading mode: Hides side panels and decorative elements; presents content in a single-column article layout.

For motion-sensitive / photosensitive users

Stop animation: The hero slider, accordion transitions, and marquee come to a complete stop. Critical for users with epilepsy or vertigo. Automatically enabled ifprefers-reduced-motion is set in your system preferences.

For users with motor impairments

Large cursor: The cursor and hover indicator are enlarged.
Touch targets at least 48×48 px: All clickable elements meet touch-target standards.
Full keyboard support: Every tool can be operated without touching a mouse.

For users with color vision deficiency

3 CVD filters: Deuteranopia (green deficiency), Protanopia (red deficiency), Tritanopia (blue deficiency).
Color + icon + text combination: No information is conveyed by color alone. Risk indicators ("High/Medium/Low") carry both a color and a text label.

3. Page-structure decisions (automatic)

Skip-to-content link: When a page loads, press Tab → a "Skip to content" link appears.
Semantic HTML5: <header>, <main>, <nav>, <aside>, <footer> are used correctly.
ARIA usage: Complex components such as modals, accordions, sliders, and dialogs carry the appropriate ARIA roles and states.
Heading hierarchy: H1 → H2 → H3 logical order with no skipped levels.
Alt text: Every image carries a descriptive alt text. Decorative images use alt="".
Form labels: Every input is explicitly labelled. Error messages are announced via aria-live.
All color contrasts: Body 4.5:1, large text 3:1 (WCAG AA standard).

5. Additional suggestions for older users

Select the "Extra Large" text size from the accessibility button
Enable high-contrast mode
Prefer WhatsApp or phone — rather than filling out a form on the site
Book an in-person meeting with Salih Bey at the Düvenönü office (let us know if you need help reaching the office; family members or companions are welcome and we'll meet you there)

6. Known limitations — transparency

Perfect accessibility is not a destination; it is a continuous improvement process. Our known limitations:

Physical access to the office: Arma Plaza is an older building; wheelchair access is limited. We can arrange meetings as alternatives (online or at a different venue).
Turkish Sign Language (TİD) videos: Currently limited content. TİD videos for the home page, services, and the fake-agent warning are planned by the end of 2026.
Audio version: An audio version (for service pages) for users with low reading fluency is planned for 2027.
Plain Turkish toggle: A "Plain Turkish" alternative to legal language is available on some pages today; it will cover all service and blog content in 2027.

7. Accessibility feedback

8. Legal basis

We are committed to making our website accessible to everyone in line with Article 10 of the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey (equality), Law No. 5378 on Persons with Disabilities, the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (Turkey has been a party since 2008), and Article 4 of the KVKK (general principles).

9. Certification

This statement applies to the version of the site that has passed an independent accessibility audit (axe-core + manual keyboard + NVDA/VoiceOver testing). The certification report is available on request.
